The maximum download limit is around 12Mbps.
The maximum upload limit is around 4Mbps.

Why your WiFi is so slower than the wired connection? Are you far from the router?

I have an antenna since the original wire for the wifi in my laptop snapped in half. I should run another test close to it, but I was too lazy at the time.

$30.00 for a USB connecting wifi antenna.... This laptop has seen better days... One of the hinges is broke.

retested wifi right next to the modem. Same speed as Ethernet... it's my shitty reception from my laptop...

Good thing about USB adapters and/or detachable antennae is they can be set on better spots, given a 10ft-long USB cable.
Also I had to use a TP-Link "Plus" model antenna, good dB gain and handy magnetic base.
