Hi Everyone
#1
Hey guys!
I'm new to the forum and thought I'd introduce myself (and make sure my account stays open of course!)
I've torrented for years but ashamed to say after doing some digging that I used to stop my seeds instantly. After doing some digging I've learned the etiquette and have made a point of seeding from now on.

I'm a big fan of obscure 90s and 00s sci fi that's hard to find. The sort of stuff where you find it on pirate bay but there's no seeds so you have to just leave it in your download queue forever in hope someone picks it back up again.
Is there a way to contact torrent owners directly in these cases?

I'm also keen to start uploading my own torrents of e.g. shows that aren't on pirate bay at all and are really hard to find on dvd etc in general. Is there a significant amount of risk involved in this? I use a VPN.

Oh yeah, so it looks like I can't get into my pirate bay account (haven't touched it in years) and don't seem to be able to find it on the form on here either. Ahh well. Guess I won't be able
to upload for a while!

Rare/niche stuff is unlikely to be monitored by copyright trolls. Using a VPN on top should keep you safe

If you had an account before, you could make a post here explaining your problems: https://forum.suprbay.org/Forum-Account-Issues - only TPB mods will be able to read it
Also, even without a TPB account, you can make an uploader thread here: https://forum.suprbay.org/Forum-Promote-Your-Shares where you can share your torrent files / magnets / megalinks / whatever you choose

Wow! Such an informative response. Thanks for this.
I've never created a torrent to upload etc before. I kinda assumed it'd be a case of just uploading the file online but I'm guessing that's not the case! I'll start doing some reading to learn about it
