GRIMTRAX !
#1
It’s time for GrimTrax! For the first time ever, we’ve assembled five shorts about death, loneliness, and dismemberment into one big, old-fashioned yukfest.
On their own, they would have been too depressing to put out into the world. But together, they form into a Voltron of hilarity, if Voltron was eventually going to die facedown in the snow, sad and alone.
GrimTrax has it all: Old women. VERY old women. Factory workers getting maimed so badly it would make Chuck Hamlin blush (if he wasn’t already dead. From maiming.) Alcoholic NBA fans. Kids who get ignored to death. And a short that we actually recorded way back in 2012 and decided not to release until now because WE DIDN’T KNOW IF YOU COULD TAKE IT! So please ignore any jokes in that one about Linsanity or Gangnam Style, trust us, they were hilarious at the time!
Featuring host segments from Mike, Kevin, and Bill to guide you through the gloom, GrimTrax is the perfect entertainment for a dark winter evening. Watch it with your favorite Very Old Woman… IF SHE CAN HANDLE IT!
Written by: Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett, Kevin Murphy, Conor Lastowka, Sean Thomason, Jason Miller, & Zach Shatzer

Great! I could use some grim entertainment this evening. Thanks Tad!

PS... Since this is compilation of 5 shorts how are my fellow OCD-style organizers labeling/storing this one? "Features" or "Shorts"...? I'm leaning towards "Features" since it's not got the Rifftrax Shorts tag on the poster. Tongue

Ahhh yes, I didn't consider that. I have a "Compilations" folder on my local HDD but none labeled "Specials". This thickens the plot! Hah

Thanks for the link, I always forget about the TVDB listings.

I think Specials makes sense to me.  This seems in line with their Best of Villains and 90s Cyber collection type of video.  It would seem out of place in Shorts since it's actually a collection of them instead of one.  So I'm throwing it in my library like it's listed on TVDB.

Cipher in the Snow was heart-breaking. Even the riffs could not take away the sadness and vulnerability of the young boy.

100% misery. Why would they show that to kids, or anything with a pulse? And that last one with the cartoon, what the heck?!. I enjoyed the riffs, but my god that's some sad stuff.

You are both correct Taddghostal and MATMAN.
And thanks a lot for posting, Taddghostal, but I'm definitely not looking forward to a Volume 2.
