You can also use the slew of free pirate apps out there that achieve the same functionality, without giving Spotify you mobile phone number.

Good deal if one can find numbers lists, gsm chips and disposable phones on the black market. Be aware cops may mistake you for a drug dealer or worse.

Is the mobile number the only requirement? Usually in services I've had I'd have to give a credit card which they would charge at the end of the free period if I didn;t cancel.
How is Spotify Premium? Can you listen to specific songs, or do they come in a rotation after you choose a specific genre of music?

There's Spotfy for Windows / Web, don't remember requirements but almost sure neither phone number or credit are asked.
If you use the mobile Android app, Google takes care of supplying your information. Check app permissions.
Kinda mainstream music radio with some break-in adverts (about sgning in for full features, etc). Playlists can be good.
Not much control on what is playing on free model - You can skip tracks just a few times a day. Just change playlists / follow other members.
