Fangs of the Living Dead BD upgrade

A few things to mention about this one- it was a Spanish production, so it seems that for the production some of the cast spoke English and some spoke Spanish. The English track is better quality and has Anita Ekberg's real voice. For some reason, there's one brief scene in the U.S. (Rifftrax) cut that's not on this cut- four hooded figures carrying a coffin outside the castle, with Kevin saying "It's Keith Richards and his posse". And the ending for the U.S. cut is an extra on the blu-ray, so I added it at the end. It looks on par with a tenth-generation VHS copy (The Rifftrax VOD is actually much better for this bit). Enjoy:

I have been meaning to ask about this one for a long time: I know this link is dead, but I think it is still circulating.
The Rifftrax audio completely disappears for long stretches at a time, to the point that it is actually jarring. It's like they are riffing every other scene. I didn't write down the first few instances because I thought maybe it was a random dead zone with no jokes, but it became much more obvious that something was off.
Dinner scene at 29mins onward, no riffing at all?? From 30mins, where she’s licking her fingers to seal an envelope until after dinner not one word of riffing. There is a full sized stuffed horse in the dining room that goes unremarked upon... Two full scenes go by with nothing. Around 33mins they come back. Burning lady at the stake now, so little dialogue but now the riffers are filling the dead air as they usually do. It actually makes the dead spots stand out even more. Riffing stopped dead again starting 43:18. Suddenly, after lots of exterior shots and half a scene in bar, at 45:50, riffing starts again. Stops at 53mins again. 55:49 they’re back. It’s jarring. Riffing stops 57:57, starts again at one hour and 01:58. They just skipped entire scene of town drunk doctor explaining bat's arteries and stuff. Very riffable scene. Riffing stopped again 1:19:26. 1:20:30 they’re back..
Is this how everyone's copy is? Is this how the official VOD is, or is there something off here? I thought maybe this was a "full" version of a movie synced up with an edited version Rifftrax used, but that makes no sense because the scenes with and without riffing are too random. I would REALLY love to know what everyone else's experience with this one is. This one I have is 3.14Gb, an MP4 with those same 4 Audio tracks (so I'm sure this is the source. Did you delete it because of this audio issue?) THANKS! --this actually seemed like a good Rifftrax aside from the dropouts

This is an uncut version. The Rifftrax version is only 1 hr 14 minutes long. The Rifftrax version cuts 14 minutes from the US version / 20 minutes from the Scream Factory Blu-Ray / 24 minutes from the Italian version. There's no audio issue; herod just took down or had all his Mega links removed. He just does Google Drive now.

This is also a perfect example of why I don't do uncut upgrades.

Ah! That was my first guess, but then I thought I was wrong. This is the 1st uncut upgrade I ever watched, and it was unbeknownst to me. It looked fantastic, but it def made the riffing too choppy to enjoy.
The only other "uncut" movie I downloaded was Zombie Nightmare, but it seemed like what was cut was at least in one or maybe 2 chunks. Fangs was really weirdly edited apparently! (I knew when Anita Eckberg licked her fingers and then rubbed her saliva onto an envelope to seal it, and the guys said NOTHING, that something was wrong!) I just downloaded the much worse looking, but fully riffed version. Thanks! This has been bugging me for months!

Here is herod's copy with a slightly different file name, in case anyone wants the HD copy. https://mega.nz/file/ld0gTIwI#73mhYjJOst...cxiFtlpHA0
I've noticed that a lot of HD upgrades have long riffless pauses, but if the movie is good I don't mind, and I do love cheesy movies.

I think that was the one I downloaded, 3.14Gb.  It really is a shame Rifftrax didn't get to riff the full movie, as the scenes cut are pretty odd!  This is a pretty funny one, reminds me of Cinematic Titanic's Castle of Freaks. An excellent Double Feature!

I made a low bitrate encode (read more about these releases) of Fangs of the Living Dead with edl/m3u so you can play either the full cut with about 20 minutes unriffed, or the riffed cut.

Download the low bitrate encode: https://1337x.to/torrent/4760856/Fangs-o...udgetbits/ or use the magnet link: Fangs of the Living Dead AKA Malenka (1969) RiffTrax triple audio 720p.10bit.BluRay.x265-budgetbits

Time codes:
-2:36.469
2:48.147-5:49.412
6:06.37-8:41.25
9:52.363-11:59.657
13:36.086-16:58.288
19:33.777-28:29.729
28:50.5-29:53.646
32:45.276-40:43.712
41:10.114-43:13.737
44:40.908-45:04.514
45:33.752-53:31.020
55:41.776-57:57.286
61:52.188-79:30.578
80:19.294-83:14.802
84:33.59-

About five or six of the riffs only make sense with the edited official RiffTrax cut.

Thanks to herod for the riff sync and the alternate ending!
