Fallout 4 Question

So I get to one of these cities and I'm clearing it out, I kill everyone in this one encampment with a turret and about 6 people inside, make my way down the street, kill one of the sentry bots walking around, go around another corner and a raider in on this overhang so I take him out, then I take out his buddy, but the third guy when I kill him I die instantly. Not a shot hits me. Walking too far past that spot I die, too. Out of curiosity I do ~ tgm and try that and I still die. Does anyone know what's going on?

v1.3 Seems to have fixed many of those types of issues.

I'll try that update later. Thanks. I'm only a few hours into it. So far I like New Vegas better.

Downloading all 3 patches right now. I can't find my particular issue anywhere online. Has anyone had the same issue with dying from killing raiders? At this point if the patches don't work I'll have to avoid that area of town and hope the game fixes itself on a game save.

It didn't work. The same exact thing keeps happening. No matter where I go if I kill a raider I get killed. Not by them, but as a direct result of their dying, even with godmode on.
