It doesn't really matter about all this because ExpressVPN messed all their firmware up back in 2020.  Since then anybody who updated their firmware would have run into problems.  On and off I've experienced this product and I have to say their firmware programming team were lacking very badly.  From what I understand the team are based in Japan and since 2020 have messed up their product so it doesn't work so this isn't surprising news it's been going on for a few years now.

Not sure why they manage to get away with such problems like this but the Japanese programming team should be held to account but because they're programmers they always get away with it.  Programmers get away with everything it's just how it goes.  The levels of product quality need to be higher of standard but it's the bosses of these teams that lack in their skill levels.  Shame really, I could have said all this about 3 years ago if you bother to contact the support their support is useless and your words fall on deaf ears.

Now come on it's 2024 does this really surprise you because I'm not surprised in the slightest...

Well ExpressVPN is okay as long as you use the older firmware.  The only snag is that the firmware isn't available to download as they don't provide that but if you've previously archived their firmware then there's no problems.  mullvad is okay but doesn't have as good security as ExpressVPN, same goes for others there's better than mullvad.  The protocols of mullvad are okayish but not the best.  I have used better and I've used lots of different ones.  I would probably continue to use ExpressVPN just as long as the older versions and not the newer ones but then again it depends on how you use it.  I tend to use it in a certain way which most other people don't so it suits me.  Personally I think that ExpressVPN and mullvad are not the best, I'm using the best at the moment but I'm not going to go into that right now as I don't want to liberate my current provider as I would rather remain that way for now.

Not applicable in the United Kingdom. In the UK all options to purchase Monero have been removed officially by the government. Maybe in other countries but the UK that option is not possible so all people of the UK have no choice but to seek alternative arrangements now...

Doesn't work anymore, all current government legislation has changed the way it works.  All exchanges must meet the standards of FCA ruling.  No exchanges outside of the UK are allowed and all instructions have been made for accounts to be deleted immediately so that an instant ban is in place.  Anybody trying to sign up will find themselves failing badly.  Same will apply to USA soon when they also follow the same.  As more countries follow it will get worse...

Well, I'm not quite convinced of that. Could you provide me with some reliable sources to support your claim?

LocalMonero is a simple solution to the problem, as it allows users to utilize Tor or VPN services to maintain privacy and make payments anonymously in cash.

It's a real time-saver!
