Downloading books and transfering to iphone

Hi Everyone! Newbie here. I used to have maaaaany books on my old iphone using dropbox and the kindle app, but I wasn't the one who went through the process so I have no idea how to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

on iPhone they need to be epub format. you save it to dropbox or other cloud system and then import onto your phone. Usually you have to click on the file and then the ... on the top corner and then pick "Save to device" then "open in..." then find the Books app. Hope that works for you, sometime with updates the steps change, but its usually open in or save to and then see what the options are.
