Donor skull for those that donate

I'd be cool to see a donor skull next to those that donate via Flattr or BitCoin. In no way am I saying TPB should become a private tracker. I'm just saying this would be a little initiative for those that donate.

They don't actively solicit donations and I can't see them creating a special status for those that do.

Neither can I. It would be completely against the spirit of the place. And it would create a swathe of practical difficulties.



EDIT: FWIW, I have heard before that many years ago--more than half-a-dozen--when the VIP status was introduced it was given to donors. I don't know that to be a fact but it sounds plausible. The site did accept donations in the early days, before a good 5-or-6 years during which it didn't until it started accepting BTC a few months ago. In any case, I certainly wouldn't support it returning and, I as I said before, I don't believe it will.
