- This method using Group Policy Editor wich avaliable in Pro edition (not avaliable in Home edition)
- This method for 19H1 version (for previous version, just go to step 3)
1. click search icon on taskbar and type: tamper protection (then click the result)
2. turn off tamper protection setting.
3. hit WindowsKey + R and then type: gpedit.msc
4. After Local Group Policy Editor opened, navigate to: Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Defender Antivirus. Then at right pane double click Turn off Windows Defender Antivirus.
5. Change setting to Enabled, then click OK.
Your Windows Defender should have turned off now.
