I think if Cryptocurrency is so hard to manage, it's not worth the trouble to use. It's impractical.

I'd rather just use real money.

Crypto is the CASH of the Internet.

I can remain absolutely and completely anonymous with crypto just like I can with real cash in my hand.

1) All you require is a crypto wallet and that's a simple sign up.   ie: It's your bank account full of crypto cash.

2) Just like exchanging Euros to Dollars...  When you want to exchange it to fiat (real currency) you need to transfer funds from your crypto wallet/bank into your legacy/government operated bank.  (But when you do that you lose youre anonymity)

It's not difficult at all!   The entire operation won't even take you 2 minutes to do.

In fact there are platforms where you can exchange crypto for fiat currency without giving anyone your name.
Or... you can use a crypto ATM and a burner phone to remain hidden.

The problem is that 99% of the public just don't want to try something different and they whine that it's too complicated.  ie:  Too lazy!

But LadyAnne3, I'm not going to do anything illegal with my money, the only thing that comes close is deciding which VPN to pay for 2025's use of the Internet and even VPNs are legal.

You do have a point for trying something new and different, I used to have qualms about using GNU/Linux and now I use it and it's an important part of my life such that I try to plead with my mother to use it too. It's just too bad she doesn't seem to be enthusiastic about using new stuff, but she is of old age.

I'll do more research, and ask around, but I'm still a little skittish about it.
