I have a version of CrazyTalk 8 and Iclone. I wanted to see if I could use it. I need it for a very specific purpose and I need to buy a comic character from a 3D forum.
Will the characters work with my cracked version?

If this works, then I will need to buy the program because I need support to help me with what I do. So I need a legit copy.

should I be able to try the characters with my cracked version. It is $150 for the characters I want. The program itself will cost about $400 so I kinda would like to know if it will work.

I don't want to lose 150 but I really don't want to lose both the 150 and the 400

Your question makes no sense.

A purchased character will certainly work with a purchased copy of the software, which you say you intend buying. So whether it works with a cracked copy of the software is irrelevant.

In most cases you can not buy the characters if you have a cracked version.

for example I have the assassin's creed origins cracked version, and I could not buy items, so I bought the game to be able to buy items and get more DLCs

But my advice is, if you really need this then you can buy the characters for 150$ and test if it works with the cracked version. and if NOT then there is no chance and you should buy the program itself for extra 400

so now you have legit copies from the software and the characters.

Being a "chep pirate" myself, I guess I understand your dilemma.

Are you worrying if the owners can detect if a legal character was used on a cracked app, and/or flag you as crack app user?  Both scenarios are possible.

Windows keep tracks (in many ways) of everything that was installed or even that one day ran in your PC.
Sony had that notorious incident with copyright-enforcing spyware.
And so on... it is in theory possible, but they
- would need to TAG your PC registry or write some file (like the app/model configuration files);
- could blacklist your Serial Numbers for both app and character (thus possibly screwing whoever uploaded them and everyone else using them);
- could blacklist your IP, wich is very unprobable since many people use VPNs or just dynamic IPs.

Since you can and are willing to buy both app and model, just do it. Way simpler than preventing all that.
