Comments are working. Just because you can't make it work doesn't mean it is broken.

I use 4 different browsers & Express Vpn, and I have limited computer skills being that I am a old guy in my 60s.

Browsers used:
Chrome version version 80.0.3987.122 it does not have a adblocker.
Using the Vpn turned on or off.
Only once have I successfully been able to leave a comment.
Other times click the submit button and nothing happens.

IE11 with adblocker and Vpn turned on and off.
Never been able to leave a comment.
Click submit button and nothing happens.

Firefox version 73.0.1 with adblocker and Vpn turned on and off.
May have had one success, (not certain), all other times have failed.
Click the submit button and nothing happens.

Tor Browser version 9.0.5 without a adblocker.
Using Vpn turned on and off.
With the Vpn on, clicked the submit button and nothing happens.
Today was the first attempt at leaving a comment with the Vpn turned off.
It was successful, whether I have have success in the future may be another matter.

Chrome doesn't work for me posting comments, but using TOR, they appear right away.

In Tor, even though I'm logged in,  when I search for a torrent my status is "not logged in", so can't leave a comment.

The whole comment section is gone now. The whole site is broken. Im surprised the upload function still works. The blog page is completely gone, etc. Whoever is messing with the site is using "document.write" function and that should make you very worried about the future of tpb. Every modern browser will squeal like a stuck pig and the site will not even work on a few anal-retentive security focused browsers.
You simply do not fix something that is not broken. Why rewrite the site when only thing we ask is to fix the current bugs that are years old?!
Instead of using static.thepiratebay.org all the static files are on torrindex.net. Highly sketchy. WTF is the reasoning for that?! Instead of fixing the old bugs they have created new problems. I can understand why some people make a full site copy of tpb to host somewhere else. (More stability, you can actually fix the old bugs by replacing the backend, etc). "If you want something done, do it yourself". For such a seemingly simple site tpb have many bugs and issues with personnel.

I would set an alarm for next month (or several) to check in on the site again. They did mention changing the site but they are still at it. Do wonder what is taking so long. Use one of your alternatives as your main torrent site in the meanwhile. Tpb is not usable currently.
