Comment Notification to the uploader.

How about getting a notification to the uploader of the torrent.

It is very difficult to check every torrent for the comments, even though after a comment on the torrent, there is comment logo appearing.
If it is a old torrent then I don't think any uploader will see it, so the comment is not noticed.

And if we want to go deeper in that perspective, show the comment number without hovering the mouse on it would be great. Also a mechanism of read/unread comments would be welcome as illustrated below.

That's a very good idea, the best thing would be the green color icon indicating there are new comments to be viewed.

Yes it would be a great addition mate, Akun mate you should resize your screen shot so it will not go out of the window.

You can see you don't see the edit as well as reply option under your post !

I'd really like to receive an email notification every time I had a comment on one of my posts. Same way I do here. I'm sure some users may find that annoying but it works good for me I get them on my phone. If it can be done here then I'd imagine it couldn't be terribly hard to implement on the bay. Like an email can be generated saying such and such torrent has a new comment. Here's the link to that torrent

Sure it can be done. But it is no trivial matter. The forum sends out a few hundred e-mail notices a day. TPB would have to send out thousands a day. That would require additional resources not currently available.

Regardless, this was a popular suggestion before the Great Crash of '13 and the people responsible weren't interested in doing this then and probably aren't interested now.

Wish ThePirateBay had notifications so I don't have to go to my every torrent to see if I have new comments by other users That would be nice! Just a tought. ☺

I was thinking the same idea, but it's hardly gonna happend, as if they make this, people will ask for PM, and later who knows. But idea as idea is pretty good.
