I think and hope Barça wins.

Reason = I find Serie A an boring competition, with a defending play style.

I hope Barcelona win because they're a fan-owned club, and that's where the real soul and passion of the game is. I won't ever give my support to a team/club if the fans aren't in charge.

Lol bob Big Grin

What I mean is that I won't ever give my hard earned cash to some tosspot in a suit who only cares about the shareholders and the bottom line. They're the ones who are responsible for the coca-colonisation of football and the sterilisation of our grounds and stadiums.

Football started out as a working man's game, run by locals, played by locals. Fans taking charge and running their own clubs is a way of reclaiming the game as ours, and it means we, the fans, get to set the rules, regulations, prices, the lot.

I used to support Manchester United, who I know you've all heard of. Then the Glazers came along and upped the prices so that eventually you paid a whole weeks wages to attend one match - and that's daylight fucking robbery - fans shouldn't be robbed to enjoy a game that is supposedly theirs. Fans got pissed off about the takeover, and set up a breakaway club, F.C. United of Manchester, which has fans worldwide. The club is owned and run by the members/fans, and the policy is 'one member - one vote.' You can sing on the terraces, kids can run around down the front behind the goalend playing their own footie, and you can take inflatable penis's into the match - you couldn't do that in a top tier level game, it'd be classed as a weapon or a tool of hatred. Entry to a game, plus programme, fanzine, a pint, a pie, and parking, cost around £20 in total. This is real affordable football, for the working man and those on low or no incomes. Kids get in free, as do OAPs (old aged pensioners). Profits are ploughed back into the club, and the community itself. It's not called punk football for nothing.

Anyway, sorry for going off-topic OP, but you did ask. Wink
