I don't think anything about Captain Marvel because I haven't even seen it yet and it will probably be many months before I even get around to watching it.  Most probably I will be watching it at some point, until then I'll just have to wait and see.

Didn't find it enjoyable honestly, it seemed to be slow and the action wasn't great. I think it could have used some grit honestly.

Total failure of a movie. I hope producers lose millions with it, even knowing they won't learn, at least they won't profit.

from https://www.the-numbers.com/movie/Captain-Marvel-(2019)

Domestic Box Office $359,871,601
International Box Office $645,000,000
Worldwide Box Office $1,004,871,601

People were fooled again. Glad I didn't pay the ticket.

Strange mixture of replies really to this thread.  I happened to speak with a mate of mine who is involved in the whole movie scene in retail marketing and he said to me that he saw it at the Cinema not long ago and he said the movie was brilliant and he really enjoyed it and he said it was very good and that he enjoyed how powerful the character of Captain Marvel was and that he said it was one of the best things he's seen for a while.  I think he is a fairly big Marvel CU fan as well he obviously seen a lot more than me, I've still got more to go yet...

I enjoyed it. When I stopped caring about how accurate/inaccurate movies were in comparison to their original counterpart, I started to enjoy movies as what they were intended to be, entertainment. I read some articles about it online, and saw some threads about this movie being against toxic masculinity, but I didn't see it. I also chose not to go looking for it. Kinda like how people go into something expecting to see racism, then lo and behold, they find it (even though it really wasn't there). I went into the movie (or rather watched a downloaded torrent) without any expectations other than I was looking forward to see captain marvel in action.

I enjoyed it. Lowered my expectations before going to see it, but enjoyed it, overall.
