Says my IP is exposed, even though I use a VPN. I don't use Nord VPN. Took a good 10 minutes to get my registration email and I long ago closed all the windows, but I know I'm not the only one with this problem.
So, dafuq? Do I have to buy Nord (not happening, I just renewed my yearly subscription to tunnelbear)? Or just admit The Man has finally shut down TPB?

Registrations have been closed for months, so wherever you registered, it wasn't TPB. So not a Site Issue.

You can use TPB without registrating. No you dont have to buy nordvpn your tunnel bear will work fine. You just clicked on an advertisement

I can't download either and I am using ExpressVPN, the one they are advertising. I can click on that AD and it takes me to the ExpressVPN website. BUT, I can still not download. Instead I am presented with the AD again. Over and over. It does not matter how many time I click the AD. I am still presented with the ad when I try to click on a magnet link.
Hopefully that explained it better.
The AD is on a loop. Doesn't matter how many times it is clicked. The D/L is not happening. This is on the https://www.thepiratebay.se.net/ site. I can't seem to connect with "www.thepiratebay.org."
I just logged back in several times, tried several different country IPs, and several different downloads. Still get the same. Can't get past that AD to download.

And you can't read.
If you are going to use an aidz infested proxy, at least figure out how to use an adblocker first.
TPB has enough aidz on its own without those injected by 3rd party proxies.

I recomend Hacxx Torrents Search Engine as it has a proxy inbuild. It pulls results pointing directly to thepiratebay and the user can proxify the connection directly without additional software. This is usefull for isp that is blocking thepiratebay.

That '.se.net' website is coded to be in an infinite loop. There is no magnet link there. (You can see from the HTML code).
Solution: Try to Copy-paste the 'Info Hash' string to your bittorrent client (Add torrent). The info hash is just above the 'magnet link'.
The only official TPB links are in the forum footer (below). Try to stick to them.
Use the Tor browser or a VPN. Install good script blockers like NoScript or uBlock Origins for your browser.

Hey Moe - I do use an AD Blocker. And I've tried it turned off as well.

Thanks. Good Info.. Will try the Copy-paste. I should have thought of that. Totally missed it. btw: using ExpressVPN.. :- )
EDIT: Thanks anyways. thepiratebay.org is now back up. It was down the other day and thats why I tried the .se site, which gave me the above trouble. Thought it was systemic within the entire TPB org.

Keep in mind that when using TOR that clicking on links wont work with your torrent client, and you must manually copy and paste them in.
However TOR can be hacked to add the magnet link associaltion. Google for 'Firefox magnet link'
