Can't comment on torrent

Can't make any comment since a couple months ago the last time I tried, isn't working for at least a few months.

Try disabling any ad-blocker and try again.

They don't show up instantly so check back on it.  If you still can't seem to post one, ask for help in the Account Issues forum.

If you're using Windows then try and use CCleaner to clean your computer's browser and Cache. I use CCleaner a lot it's very good if you find that you try and post a comment and it doesn't show up, sometimes it does work and you can view it then. Just log back in once you've used it and then you should be fine. There's nothing wrong with CCleaner it's a perfectly good program I'm sorry I don't know what to suggest in regards to Linux as I don't use it.

excellent suggestion RodneyYouPlonker - in fact, i initially thought the same exact thing! unfortunately, i tried ccleaner before requesting help (and again just now).. sadly, this doesn't seem to help. i am logged in, the site tells me i'm logged in.. and i absolutely cannot post comments.

Forget what I said about posting in Account Issues.  There are a lot of suggestions in this merged thread.  Here are some you should consider first:

If you are having problems commenting, it is possibly because:

- you are not logged in
- you have javascript turned off, or an add-on is blocking it from loading
- you are using a proxy
- your IP address is banned
- you are using one or more words that are blacklisted


It is irrelevant what torrent you are trying to post on as TPB doesn't isolate torrents for commenting reasons.

Maybe it's possible that the reason why sometimes that comments don't work is because the owners of the site don't like people to spam the comments too much. Maybe it has been made harder for people to do that. I don't always know what's going on really I tend to not bother anymore now. I don't post comments on Pirate Bay because it has happened to me lots of times before where I've had people commenting and I've wanted to reply but it won't let me. Also I think that sometimes perhaps not always the best idea to reply to comments anyway as usually it will be a rude one. I've had that happen many times now where people post rude and nasty comments like to try and get a reaction out of me. I tend to just ignore it now. Comments for me in general are a bit of a waste of time IMO. If I wanted to write a comment I would probably just do that over at Demonoid but even there the other day somebody was being very rude and nasty towards me and I haven't post anything since and there is supposed to be a high level of etiquette. Doesn't stop people from certain countries coming and posting up stuff that's Anti what I'm doing. Obviously these people don't care if they get banned as they only have a few torrents and they are usually very poor quality anyway. But if I get banned on the other hand it would be terrible for me so better I just ignore them and don't rise to them. In most cases it is just people being rude and not being very nice about things. I'd rather just talk on here instead where this forum is moderated so if somebody steps out of line they will be warned pretty much straight away in most cases...

I couldn't post comments either but then I turned off AdBlock Plus and PeerBlock and it worked and showed up right away.

I cant submit comments on torrents anymore. The window for comments opens, I can write a comment but when I click submit nothing happens. Thanks!
