Bluetooth??
#1
I have the windows 10 64-bit. However, it did not come with the bluetooth function when I bought it a few years ago. So what I'm wondering is if there is a way to add bluetooh capability to it, or if I just have to use something else that does. I know it is easier since I have something that does, but I just wanted to know if I could put it on my laptop. If so, where would you recommend I download what I'd need? Or, what would I need?

Thanks!

There are such things as plugable USB adapters.

This is an example: https://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Bluetoot...B009ZIILLI

Just search around for the one that suits your needs.

Awesome! Is there a driver or something I can install so I don't have to take up another USB port if I don't have to?

Drivers should install automatically unless you are on a version of Windows that Microsoft has stopped supporting. If you don't want to take up a USB port you can use an expansion card slot, but it will take away from having a GPU or other stronger utilities from being installed and used.

Does your machine have bluetooth hardware built-in?

Is it enabled in the bios?

Is there a driver from the machine manufacturer on their website?

What does the device manager in windows say about your bluetooth device, if you actually have bluetooth hardware?
