demystifying handbreak:
rf refers to the level of compression. quality values are @ 19 to 25.
19 being little compression. 25 being a lot.
in this case an 8 GB file was run @ 23.
A 2 GB result = about 1/4 the original size.
slow is good. very slow is better.
on the larger encodes the audio is passed through without re encoding/lossy compressing AGAIN
that is labeled audio pass or passthrough.
the more compressed versions are generally compressed again into .acc (lossy movie audio file format)
that is labeled .acc
sometimes the additional audio is dropped to make the file smaller.
