Bitlord alternative for Linux?
#1
Hi, in order to Play/stream torrents you need to install Bitlord - but what do you do, if you are using linux?

I use a modified(better than Ubuntu's) version of xubuntu 14.04 32bit and have another machine with 16.04 64bit - The name is Peach OSI.

Is there an alternative for linux users or are we to be forgotten again?

Right now I use qbittorent to download torrents.

Best I could find was https://webtorrent.io/desktop/

This client harms the community because you simply leech not seed. I WOULD NOT use it!

That is not true.

In order to use the "stream" feature TPB provides for some torrents you need to install Bitlord but you can stream any torrent using your torrent client (if your torrent client supports streaming). Just find a Linux client which does. Tixati?

That said, streaming torrents is a dumb ass idea that harms swarms. It should never have been implemented by anyone ever so do yourself and the community a favor and just say no.

Please read the Other info at https://thepiratebay.org/help

This client does not share what you download!

Of course it does, it's a BitTorrent client like any other.

But all torrent clients, when they stream, share significantly less with others than they would do were they not being used to stream. It is streaming that is bad for swarms, not BitLord.
