Best software for ripping blu-ray to mp4
#1
Hi everyone, i'm looking to upload some blu-rays and was wondering what is the best software to use for both ripping and encoding.

Cheers

There are lots of DRM, like Cinavia, that would make your task a living hell.

Luckily, to my knowledge, not all movies (and lesser in TV shows) will distract you with that. I would avoid Sony and Universal discs.

That said, you can use DVDFab to do such a task.

Of course, I don't rip Blu Ray discs, so I'm probably out to lunch. Still, I hope this starts you on a long quest.

I've understood that MakeMKV is able to create an exact rip of every Blu-ray disc and the program is quickly updated when new DRM  schemes are released.

Please don't avoid any discs — obtain what you want to share the most.

EDIT: I may be mistaken about Cinavia.
