Besides youtube what's a good source for "how to" information?

In order to make more money I'm trying to branch out from sewing to upholstery.   There's some youtube stuff but I would really like to get my hands on a text book of some kind

Could always try asking Gh0ster, he seems to be a tree of knowledge these days.  I'm sure he could help you out and get you some money earned.

Maybe ask at the Library or just ask the Library Gh0st if they can suggest anything good.

Puzo.org has a tutorials section. Might want to check there.

If you can turn it into a passion there is real money to be made in repair/conservation

Getting AIC accredited is nearly impossible, but there is much demand for independent contractors.
Read as much as you can and see if you can intern for a museum/art restoration department. Textile cinservation is pretty complex, but fortunately requires a good eye, intuition fir materials, and nearly zero math.

You can try freelancing with the job shoppers.
