Are there any torrent sites dedicated to crafts?

I sew so I went looking for sewing patterns.
All I'm finding are pathetic blogs about stuff other people made and sites that redirect me to places to buy patterns.

So did someone ever make a torrent site dedicated to crafts and DIY?

I had the same problem looking for stain glass patterns. I found more on USENet than I did in torrents so you might look there.

Torrents are mostly used for sharing copyrighted/objectionable media and apps. Since most crafting materials aren't in that line, you should look for specialized sites on crafts, from there you can find people posting lots of stuff - on blogs, vlogs, etc.

Things like sewing patterns and how to books are copyrighted material.

One possible problem is that it may be that for some people of the forum their local Library may have closed down for some reason due to lack of funding and could be possible that simply borrowing a book could be harder than it is for others.  Living in a rich and wealthy country where all these things are available all the time may be okay but for those who are less fortunate then it's not quite so simple.  It could be that maybe the kind of books you're talking about they might not be available at somebody's local library due to again a lack in funding provided by their local council.  Soulcity does make a point really this is where Torrents are always a good option.  Not everybody has the same kind of luxuries, for poorer and less fortunate areas then this could be true in this day and age.

In the old days I remember seeing LOTS of sewing patterns in bursts on Usenet, in alt.binaries.ebooks.flood

On torrents its almost all knits and crochet. Only a few titles on Genlib.

When checking Usenet just remember that around 95% of offerings are boogers.
