Anyone know cell phones?
#1
I have an older phone, a mytouch c800, and I haven't used it in a while. So when I tried to turn it on, it wouldn't. I tried different charging cables, and even bought a new battery. Still wouldn't turn on. I cleaned off the gold bars where the battery connects, and I've held down the power button without the battery in like some suggestions said, still nothing. I plugged it into my computer and my PC acknowledges that something is connected, but my phone does nothing. No charging indicator on the screen or anything. Are there other tricks I might can try or is my phone toast? Thanks!

Try leaving it plugged in for a couple days.  If it still has no screen, plug it into your PC and use Android SDK.  You can get it on this page - https://developer.android.com/studio/ind...#downloads.  Scroll down and grab the SDK Only, not the studio.  You may be able to boot it into recovery mode using that, and hopefully see something on the screen.

You may need to look up Android ADB Commands.

Oh, did you take the phone to any shops to get it fixed?
