With the recent release of The Sword and the Sorcerer on UHD, i thought now would be a good time to finally broach this topic. Most 4K UHD releases have been easy enough to just add the (legendary) bsg4you riff audio track and +/- delay as needed for personal use, however there are a handful that i just dont have the expertise to sync up correctly due to the UHD release coming from different elements/cut of the film than the blu/dvd. I can just barely make a passable "just the jokes" mix tbh without any editing
A few examples like The Sword and the Sorcerer, Star Wars 4K77/4K80, and Willy Wonka come to mind. There are others as well ranging from "that would be cool" to "yeah i guess sure" but i would say these are the ones that stand out most, especially Sword since i think the best we've had to this point is highTV.
I dont think it would be worth trading the full files, so if anyone gives a crap about watching riffed Wrath of Khan at 4K wants to give it a shot i might be able to put up a source mka file and we can share the results with everyone so they can just slap it in a source mkv. Feel free to PM me if needed

I'll get the ball rolling by posting a copy of Sword with the recommended source audio track and the unedited/unsynced riff audio included in the mkv file. I included a video track just for reference during syncing, the video bitrate is like 500 to keep the size manageable with the DTS audio. I can always put together a better file once the sync is done if i can figure out some good settings for re-encoding 4K with HDR (no clue how to do properly) at a decent size if there is a need for it. This file is taken from the FGT release torrent, it can easily be searched up if you want the full-fat video file

I am currently working on "Gymkata". All of the combined videos+ riff audio that I have found have audio issues that prevent me from watching the video. I am actually done with it, but I am having trouble finding a place to upload the torrent. I have "uploader" privileges on GloTorrents and Demonoid, but I keep getting an error when I try to upload the torrent to GloTorrents. I do not know why, and no one on their forums seems to know why, either (if they do know, they have not told me about it).

Wait, Gymkata doesn't have a UHD version out right?! And there were still audio issues after people on this site slid the audio like 0.3 seconds to get everything back in sync? (Like Warner Brothers should have originally taken 30 seconds to correct before releasing)

What about a Mega upload of Gymkata? At least until you get the torrent?

I am referring to how the sound cuts out around the 20 minute mark. The notes in the NFO say that the encoder could not figure out how to keep it from doing that. So I started from scratch. As far as I can tell, my version works fine, but of course I can't be sure until lots of other folks look at it.

Thank you. The english subtitles from OpenSubtitles syncs up perfect with this. Also the audio and subtitles sync perfect in the 6.26 GB 1080p HDTV version from usenet, when you set them to "-1000" ms in the MKVToolNix delay settings.
I just wish the audio was normalized because the Riffing is way louder than the rest of the audio.
