I think I started a topic like this before but for those that don't remember. Ive been using NIS 2014 with Trial Reset, but lately everything I do in regards to torrents it's finding things and deleting them as false positives, I can go in and restore the files but it's becoming a hassle...Is there another Anti-Virus that is better at not reporting false positives on things? I was toying around with Bit Defender or perhaps AVG.

Thoughts?

You did create such a topic before, which I've merged your duplicate thread into. Since you evidently don't bother reading the threads you create I, for one, won't waste any time even trying to help you but perhaps someone else will.

well, you can always set exceptions for the folder in which the cracks are located, any anti virus can detect false positives.

Aside from switching from a Window$ machine to MAC or Linux....I am looking to get my hands on a good Anti-Virus. I don't care where to get it whether here on the TPB or a "free" solution.

Any Suggestions?

If your running Windows. M$ Security Essentials running paralell to Malwarebytes is a time proven good addition.

If your on XP then download/install the POS update .exe (Executable). Can't see M$ fucking up Point Of Sales security updates anytime soon.

LINUX = Ask maybe RX or UA-07

MAC = Ask kjf maybe UA-07

Hope this helps Smile

As for GNU/Linux OSs like Linux Mint or at least any Debian-based OSs, chances for a catastrophic virus attack are far and few in between.

Of course, to alleviate your paranoia, I guess you can download ClamAV at http://www.clamav.net/lang/en/.

Thanks for the podium, Mr. Nelly. Wink
