Anitivirus blocking files

Some popular torrents might give you a false positive for a virus and your antivirus wont let you move the file/folder. There is a work around for this. First make sure its a false positive there are sites you can go to and check the downloaded file to make sure its clean. Next disable your antivirus move the file/folder to where you need it i.e install path. After the move enable antivirus then make your exception in your virus protection software. ( the file must be moved first before the exception is made )

If your A/V is configured correctly. Files/Folders will be quarentined/deleted before you even get a chance to move them or disable the A/V to do so.

Put your torrent downloads in a partition/drive off of C:/ and run them sandboxed or scan them from the isolated downloads folder.

I second that statement I always use a partition as a just in case, a step i should have posted.

Sorry super noob here with a dumb question I'm sure but what is the best site to make sure the file is clean. It seems google has too much garbage to sift through the real
