Here's an encode of Amityville 4 from the Vinegar release, synced with the Rifftrax Live. Colors are definitely better in the blu-ray as many scenes are very washed out in the Rifftrax release, along with that one being live-only as of now. They also cut around 10 minutes out of the film, so believe it or not there is now even less going on in the movie.
The mismatch of live performance vs source audio is kind of rough in the first few minutes but is much better once the movie gets going imo. I did my best, if anyone has tips on ways to mutilate feature audio to get closer to a Rifftrax Live presentation, i'm all ears.

Thanks so much for this effort, I didn't think I'd watch Amityville 4 - The lamp from the house in another house, AGAIN, but then Jesus came back and now everything is different

I'd almost recommend editing the feature to cut the same parts as rifftrax did for the purposes of a "rifftrax upgrade". just my opinion though.

I would rather be kicked in the head by a mule than watch almost anything rifftrax has ever done unriffed, even if it’s just for a cumulative 10 minutes or so. If nothing else, doesn’t it sound weird & jarring to anyone else for their voices to suddenly disappear for a while?

You'll get more scenes of dollar store Donald Pleasence and you'll like it

I think we're saying the same thing.... I said I'd recommend pulling out the parts of the feature that didn't exist in the rifftrax in order to make a "rifftrax upgrade". Sort of like how the fan edit despecialized editions of star wars were made.

Rifftrax are the ones editing the original films, just like the despecialized editions I am correcting retroactive edits done to the source material at the best possible/feasible quality. And not to be pedantic but i'm not doing "rifftrax upgrades" as noted in the title.
The real reason for these uploads is to offer corrected riff audio to work with blu-ray remux and rips of these films that I and other people have, tbh i'm just including re-encoded video in these releases to throw non-enthusiasts a bone
