El Presidente Trumpo promises to cast away millions of illegals! Lady Liberty is reaching her arm, finger pointing South, to show the migrants where to go: OUT!
I truly believe it's best for all parts to enforce the laws and deport all illegals, or then just change the laws / quotas. Congrats Trump for being the guy who finally did something about it!
But just who the woosie will wait the McD restaurants, tend the tender tropical trees of Florida, give your naughty daughties lambada lessons, sell drugs and waffles in Vegas, be exploited in Disney costumes, etc? After the Goldman-Sucks, come the reconstruction and the new Jobs: No more Americans living on the streets, there'll be Jobs for all ($7.25/h minimun wage).
Not me. I'll wait the Trumpicana Fest pass making good money at the other side of the world and take some time with the Euro chicks.
*For All is a well known term here; originally designating a ball dance "open for all", it also means "the poor men's day" or a cheap little thing you throw the dogs so they are grateful and think you care. Coincidentally, that's how I see that (one more) Trump's bravado: America is not for all!
Time will tell.

Congrats Trump for being the guy who finally did something about it! FUCK THAT. Trump gets credit for nothing here. He and his cretinous crime family are actively profiting from illegal immigration to the US, and perhaps other countries as well. Trump sees himself as Caesar, and his outrageous, and quite possibly criminal, forays in immigration enforcement are simply bread and circuses for his political base. If it had not been for all of that screeching from Ms Skeletor (aka Ann Coulter) I don't think he would have even bothered.
You can be forgiven for missing the reports of deliberate immigration violations by The Trump Organization, given that there are at least fifteen active criminal investigations of Trump and his companies at present. Specifically, there are charges that Trump hotels and resorts deliberately hire illegals, forge documentation for them that they keep on file in case La Migra shows up, and then work them for many extra hours off the books. Consequently, none of these workers are getting even minimum wage for their work for Trump.

Trumpo Moustacho is a baboon buffon, he does the wrong things in the worst possible way and get even worse results, but still he's making waves.
Who knows, maybe the wetbacks' issues will come to better terms after this orange-monkey dance! (I doubt, but what do I know?)
I still believe it's better to have good law and follow it than having irreality and overseeing. Not that Trumpo is the issue, he's just the profiteer ringleader.

Of interest is that the chump has zero interest in stemming the tidal wave of H1Bs which are the true source of loss of middle class jobs, as typical wetbacks perform the labor that we are educated to avoid.
Its all nonsense anyway. To end illegal immigration simply end public benefits, and automatic citizenship for anchor babies. And enforce already existing laws.
If this country had a real economy, we would do well to encourage immigration. Rentier financials is not GDP. Post-industiralism is the same thing as third world shithole run by a bunch of robber barons. Extra pressure on public resources only makes things worse.
The chump is an imbecile, but he is the proverbial bull in the china chop destabilizing a system set up to bring us under korporate kontrol. Kyoto and TTP were two such components that he knocked over.

I've a few questions:
"we" (the people) "are educated to avoid" - Only 10% of them (you) make it to (thru) a good university and gets the good jobs or open a business.
The rest line up either for social or Wendy's.
"china chop destabilizing a system set up to bring us under korporate kontrol" - So you rather be under Mao's Paper Tigers than the Golfman-Sacks?
Finally, refusing environment protection is a very bad idea. We should go downsizing, organic, life quality, decentralized, ruralized.

Yes, but the other 90% are taught by their teevees and teachers/professors that real labor is for losers. An essential idea to sabotage the Labor Movement. Everyone is just a temporary struggle away from the GET RICH moment either via a Bezos Epiphany or a Lottery Ticket. Stairway to Heaven -bought and paid for.
In a choice between plutocrats amd technocrats, I'll take the technocrats. Mao preferable to the vampire squid.
But culture is important. A cruel, intolerant culture will have a vicious political system, regardless of economic system. The Korean war started with the SOUTH slaughtering 100,000 dissidents.
Here, for 246 years we had the most vicious slave system since the Romans. The Land of the Free. And under the Rentiers a similar system is returning, with the 99% as the chattel/debtor serfs.
It is important to understand the difference between Rentier and Industrial economies - they are diametrecially opposed. Despite the apparnt (and ilusory) synthesis during the Gilded Age (JP Morgan, etc) - bankers HATE loaning money to industrial enterprises: too much risk, and diversion of funds from more lucrative assets, like stocks and bonds and real estate (mortgages).
Indeed, decentralization is the key. Communalism. Chomsky's Social Libertarianism. (Not to be confused with the vile Ayn Rand version).
Fellow named Pol Pot tried it, but the folks doing it got carried away. Due to a culture with no inherent respect for human life.
Capitalism has killed far more than socialism - except slower. Usually through starvation.
Environmentalism is a necessary pursuit, but it has been thoroughly hijacked by the neoliberals (and their predecessors) since the founding of the Sierra Club, which sought to block industrialization (though not extraction of raw materials) in the American West. The two processes might apear related - but they are not.
