Hi

I am trying to install Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 ,but are not getting anywhere.

I have Windows Ultimate 64 bit.

During the installation i get the following error:

its looks like you dint properly uninstalled previous adobe premium pro
do a clean reinstall using adobe tool.

I have a different installation oddity with Adobe Premiere Pro SC5.5 - For reference, this is the torrent I used.

I followed all of the instructions for installation, using method 1 and one of the keys. But when I went to the folder where the new programs were, it was a bunch of other Adobe programs but not Premiere. Should I try Method 2, or is there something else I'm missing?

EDIT: Never mind, the program went into the Adobe folder within my "Program Files" folder, instead of my "Program Files (x86)" folder as I was expecting. Sorry for the bump.

Somewhat similar issue- Apologies - never did forums much so answering and adding to an existing threadis easy but I seem retarded in being able to start a new thread -

I installed a number of Apps form TPB from (The Thingy) and did well on most. Old system died - and my back up system got something nasty and most of my registered applications no longer functioned and I was unable to reinstall them again - Instead of reformating back to basic decided needed a new system. win 7 premium 64 bit - also this system is not connected to the internet.

Attempting to install Adobe Creative suite 5.5 master collection as that is what I had successfully installed before.


First - The zipped collection part 2 was not recognized by my new WinZip/WinRar But still had the installer folder (part 1)

Modified hosts and began installation as directed - got to the point where it asked for registration code - none were found to be valid
Attempted to install under trial mode - and it asked me to insert the adobe disk. - I didn't see an ISO and its been ages since I mounted one but wondering what my next step is. As pretty much everything I installed from, the thingy has worked as stated and by following the instructions.


One solution found - a key generator that gave me a good number. - Installation began. This is a clean system with no previous adobe installations on it. I got exit code 7 message Error code 7

- 2 fatal error(s), 128 error(s), 160 warning(s)

To the OP and not the thread hi-jackers. Your missing a dependancy. More than likely .NET Framework

Un-install your current version of Adobe using REVO Uninstaller and clean up any left-overs.

Re-boot.

Update or install the latest version of .NET framework.

Re-boot.

Install Adobe EXACTLY as the instructions tell you.

Link to your torrent that you downloaded so i can take a look at it
