ADL, PayPal pushing to monitor financial transactions in US under 'anti-hate drive'
#1
The Zionist group Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is pushing for monitoring financial transactions in the United States through a new partnership with online payment processor, PayPal, in order to "fight against hate and racism".

The partnership was announced on Monday, with the ADL claiming the "initiative is meant to fight extremism and hate through the financial industry and across at-risk communities."

The Zionist organization alleged that PayPal and the ADL would also go after “actors and networks spreading and profiting from all forms of hate and bigotry against any community.”

The group claimed that the measure is the latest effort by PayPal in combating racism, hate and extremism across its platforms and the industry.

The ADL has been accused by experts of conflating criticism of Israel with anti-Semitism despite claiming to be an advocate of civil rights in the US.

Noam Chomsky, a Jewish American and one of the most cited scholars in US history, accuses ADL of "having lost entirely its focus on civil rights issues in order to become solely an advocate for Israeli policy."

PayPal and the ADL claim they have launched a research effort to address the urgent need to understand how extremist and hate movements throughout the US are attempting to leverage financial platforms to fund criminal activity.

The intelligence gathered through the research initiative will be shared broadly across the financial industry and with policymakers and law enforcement, they added.

Quote:Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the ADL said ,"All of us have a critical role to play in fighting the spread of extremism and hate. We have a unique opportunity to further understand how hate spreads and develop key insights that will inform the efforts of the financial industry, law enforcement, and our communities in mitigating extremist threats."

The ADL has drawn strong criticism for finding hate virtually everywhere, said media reports.

The Zionist group has recently denounced an article published in Canada’s National Post because its author mentioned that one of the 32 US lawmakers supporting a tax reform belonged to a Jewish fraternity.

The group also argued that the GameStop stock trading bonanza helped to fan conspiracy theories about Jews, according to reports.

PayPal is also known for blocking and freezing accounts of some pro-Palestinian groups. Earlier this year, the online payment processor suspended the account of pro-Palestinian group, Grassroots Al-Quds, “for inspection”.

The so-called "anti-hate drive" by the ADL and PayPal has concerned PayPal users, with some of them taking to social media to warn that the " initiative" could become tantamount to a “social credit score.”

A social media activist tweeted that, "PayPal locked my account and regularly takes donations aside because some of you mention the word "Syria" in your kind messages. Their definition of "extremism" is apparently just existing. The ADL is just going to expand that to anyone criticizing Israel, you already know it."
