I have some good vinyl at my house, good rock stuff, like I have every Led Zeppelin album ripped onto my computer in 320 kb/s MP3. anyone interested in some vinyl rips, I also have a lot of rush on here, and some stoner rock from the 60's/70's, really trippy shit too, so yea if anyone wants it ill upload.

Hi, I Recently download Installshield from the piratebay. I do everything that was written on files that show you how to install with the patch (I install it and I click on the buttom patch and the it says the program was succefully patched). I open Installshield but it says that this is just an evaluation version and I have to write an serial number to get the liscence. Maybe I need to disconnect my computer from internet anyways it didnt say to do that and I don't know how to do it with windows 7. Can someone help with? Alright so I was wondering if anyone here played mmorpgs and if so, which one?

I've been playing MMORPGs since Ultima Online over 10 years ago and am still going strong. I've tried most p2p game out there but currently, I'm really having a blast in the huge Eve Online universe.

So whether you're a hardcore grinder or a casual quest runner, show yourself! I'm sure we could get together and have some fun.

edit: And by the way, if you want to give eve online a shot, just holler at me and I can give you a 21 day trial instead of the regular 14 days.

Flaw on magnet links?

Just asking from more experienced members,

I know how magnet links work. I also think I know how DHT and PEX work (exchanging torrent hashes and peers with other peers).

However, if all trackers are shut down, as TPB crew encourages, how will member "initialize" their magnet link download?

I mean, with magnet link, you download torrent hash etc. itself from other peers. Without tracker, how do you know WHO are the other peers?

Your client cant randomly poll every IP-address on the internet, that would generate huge amount of unnecessary traffic, and it may be even illegal.
With trackers shut down, you dont know who are the other peers, and thus it renders magnet links AND torrents invalid (DHT and PEX exchanges the peer information, but since you dont know ANYONE, you cant exchange anything).

So trackers cant be shut down? Why were the magnet links implemented in the first place then, as trackers are still needed and operators are still liable. Has this something to do with tracker load (they need a lot less bandwidth since peers do "tracking" themselves after initial scrape?).

Letter from my ISP

Today, I received a letter from my ISP telling me that NBC has some sort of copyright notice to my computer and I'm dowloading copyrighted material and etc, you know the drill. I haven't been torrenting for too long and I really need some help here. The notice was for my recent download of DeathRace.

I have tried researching this information on my own but I have been unsuccessful thus far.

What necessary precautions can I take and what ALL can I do to avoid this happening again in the future?
