Horror manga/anime
Anyone else interested in this stuff? There's more than enough manga and anime out there with horror themes and elements, but there's not too many that are really horror.

I can think of two really good horror manga Uzumaki and Gyo both by Junji Ito.

Franken Fran is pretty cool. Some of the chapters are pretty messed up, but there's some dark comedy that usually gets me laughing.

And:
Higarashi no Naku Koro ni
Hohzuki Island
Doubt

That's about it for me. Anyone know anything else horror-like, or psychological even?

I've never thought of losing since birth.

It's not really my genre, but perhaps

Cossette no Shouzou

Pretty OK OVA.

Cossette no Shouzou is light on the horror, but the animation was pretty good: some scenes were really cool.

An other manga I started reading recently is Kiben Gakuha, Yotsuya Senpai no Kaidan. It's not creepy, and it's more of a detective manga than anything, but the plot kind of revolves around horror stories. It's got a really nice art style too.

I watched Uzumaki the movie. I think this is relevant to the topic because it was based from the Japanese comic.

Ah, so there was a live-action movie. How was it?

To Uzumaki? It was alright. Had all the workings of a horror movie, a Japanese one, that that. But the ending was a little too sudden.

Well, I think it was western but that doesn't really matter much.
Anyway, it was pretty cool, right? Watch the movie and read the comics, and you'll get a better understanding of the story. It really makes the game better. Smile

Cool, dude, Gantz is always good for some massacre. They should have continued the anime; I still read the manga though I'm behind some chapters.
