Idea for the BitTorrent protocol
First of all, I wasn't sure where to post this idea in the first place and I guess this is the wrong forum as-well, however the idea I think is a good one and I guess it's better to throw it out there and perhaps someone is able to create a better idea out from it. And since you guys are in this business and may find it a good idea as well, perhaps you will be able to throw this idea on someone else's lap who might be able to do something with it.

Now the idea isn't a real change to BitTorrent protocol as it is pretty much more of an add-on (just like the magnet link).

Now as you guys know, torrents are very static and once you upload the torrent to a website, you are unable to change the torrent's content because the hash data would be invalid. Now you might get where I'm going to or perhaps not. You might think "This idea would create a real mess", however I think simple and I'd like to get basics of the idea out there so someone else who has the proficiency, skills and authority to upgrade to protocol the ability to add his own idea's.

The idea is more or like an self-updating torrent-feed, to put it simple if I subscribe (or have such a file opened in my BitTorrent client) it will check for an (rss) feed and update automatically if new files are added to the torrent-feed.
Keep in mind that I don't mean them default RRS feeds, I mean that the author is able to delete, update and add data to the torrent from his local machine instead of updating a feed instead of going to a website (which might be eventually shut down) and update it from there.

Think of the possibility's, of sharing your recent work without waiting for the user to download your torrent. This would significantly decrease the number of dead / duplicate torrents, because you would be sharing not only the file you're currently downloading but older files as well.
You wouldn't have to search for new specific television episodes via a website, an idea that would reduce traffic on any torrent website, and since The Pirate Bay (or any torrent website) is running out of cannonballs to shoot IFPI and RIAA with, the idea might "also" be a possible future for BitTorrent.
With also I mean that I've read upon TorrentFreak and found an interesting article of an idea to exchange torrents between peers (taking tracking sites out of the picture), however this seems to bring quite a lot of complications with it.

Let me get you an example. Let's say I follow the television series of Dexter, I can subscribe to that specific torrent-feed of HD (1080p) quality and I'm downloading a torrent, go to bed and wake up in the morning and a newly released episode has been downloaded on my computer along with the file I was originally downloading. This would safe me a lot of time. You aren't limited to a specific feed of different things of a specific user but rather to a torrent.
Take a look at this feed, nice but I don't want to download every single one of them, the feed is merely a shortcut for me not to visiting The Pirate Bay, nothing more.

Think of it like this, a torrent file which is actually a feed of torrents that links to torrents found over the web which can be updated if necessary.
This idea may bring it's own complications, but I think it's easier implemented then the idea in article I found on TorrentFreak. Or maybe a combination of both, I don't know what would be the best approach, I'm just throwing it on the table, do what you want to do with it.

If there is a category on this forum which better supports the contents of this post, I hope it just get's moved over there instead of being thrashed without being read. That would make me sad and it would probably give bootstrap Bill the order to stop delivering them IFPI piercing cannonballs!
Set sail, me mateys! Shiver me timbers and uuh, tell me if you like the idea Cool
