Just an idea here; next time - ask first for help before you install it... Life may be easier that way.

RE: CA Yahoo! Anti-Spy
1. He isn't asking for help he's simply asking whether anyone else uses it. [My bad, I should really have moved this to General Discussion rather than Help.)

2. How would anyone know they're going to need help before they had a problem? [You don't need to answer that--it's rhetorical.]

RE: CA Yahoo! Anti-Spy
It originated from CA Antivirus. It acts just like McAfee Anti Virus which has a McAfee Site Advisor toolbar.

Ok I never used McAfee but It found 86 problems on the first scan and I scan my computer daily with Microsoft Security Essentials, Avast Home Edition and Spybot. Was the results wrong or that the other Anti-Virus's didn't pick them up.

I assume you're referring to McAfee? I personally don't & will never reply on McAfee. I only trust Kaspersky, Nod32 & Avast. Those toolbars like the one we talk about earlier only block websites which are known to be dangerous.

For such programs, i use Firefox Addon WOT(Web Of Trust)

When i said it found 86 problems i was referring to CA Yahoo Anti-Virus and as I said never used Mcafee.
