Conversations with God?
I became aware of a great series of books by the name of "Conversations with God" by author Neale Donald Walsch a couple years ago and because I have had such great experiences with reading these 3 books and also listening to these Audiobooks, I feel it is only right for me to try and share this Wonderful Information with as many people as possible.
If you have ever been confused with Religion, Spirituality, God, or the many other similar subjects in Life I highly suggest opening your Mind and your Heart, and giving a careful listen to a fresh voice of Wisdom & Clarity. Conversations with God is a three part series of Dialog between Neale Donald Walsch and God. and Yes, yes I know.. That cant be, ..right? But Please, before you make any judgments set all of your self limiting beliefs aside for just a second and allow yourself the opportunity to experience a deeper relationship of Love and understanding with the Universe. If any of this I've shared intrigues you, please just find a way to listen to or read this series. I Sincerely promise if given the chance, this will have a wonderful impact upon your life. You can find these books on www.amazon.com or www.cwg.org ![]() Please note, I am not trying to debate the subject of God, Religion or any other very sensitive topic. I am merely trying to share this with whoever is interested as this has had and still has a very, very positive impact in my life. If you have read or listened to any of this series or have read any other books by Neale Donald Walsch, please feel free to leave a comment and tell me about it. I would love to hear what you have to say. Thank you. there was a link to a conversations with god audiobook, but I think it was breaking the forum rules so it needed to be removed, sorry guys. |

reactor903 Wrote:God is within yourself not a scripture..is that the jist of the book? No, Im sorry but there is simply no way of summing up these books. Feel free to read the user reviews of Book 1 of this series on amazon > Here. If you look at the overall rating from the customer reviews, you will see that well over 700 people voted it the top rating of 5 stars while only 285 users rated it only 1 star. Personally I'd give it a rating of 5 stars as well. There is soo much wisdom and information that can be taken from this series you really have no idea. It cannot be summed up with such blindly repeated messages. There is more information clearly described and very easily understandable in this, you may find it absolutely wonderful, if you actually give it a chance. |

Conversations with God?
I met Neale at Adyar bookstore in Sydney. I was sitting outside the store having a smoke (chop-chop straight from the farm) when he arrived with a small entourage. It was funny because he kept making eye contact with me. He'd look away and then look back, look away and look back again.
Anyway, the shop was packed and Thom Hartmann was speaking first, and he went inside. I followed shortly after and squeezed past where he was standing in the crowd to stand with a mate at the counter of the shop. After about 30 seconds, Neale walked over to stand just in front of me. This guy came up to him and asked him for an autograph. He said no as Thom was speaking and he would have to sign them for everyone then and interrupt Thom in the process, he would sign autographs at the end of his speech. The guy was cool and walked away. Of course I'm thinking that it was a bit conceited to think that everyone was going to stop listening to Thom and rush Neale for his autograph, so I said, "The price of fame.". To me it meant Fear As Monetary Energy. Neale replied, "A price I'm willing to pay.", after he had turned around with this smarmy smile on his face. Obviously he didn't pay because he didn't give the guy his autograph. After he finished his speech and had signed his autograph for everyone, I purposely waited 'til there was no-one left, I approached him. He was sitting on the edge of a stool as I walked up to him and he looked straight at me. I was carrying a 20cm Rose quartz crystal sphere, and as I stood in front of him I said that I was thankful that he had released the books and would like to give him the crystal as it represented unconditional love. With both hands he reached out to grab the crystal while he said, "I can't tale that.". Which is true ironically, because I was 'giving it', he couldn't 'take it'. Anyway, I asked (using the word please of course) if we could have a half an hour conversation. Well, his eye contact went all over the shop as he offered excuse after excuse, until he finally said that as he was doing a weekend workshop, I should come along and talk to him there. Of course this would cost around $800-00 for the workshop. I told him that I was living in the back of a van and he started to get a bit flustered, and then his entourage interrupted, saying that he had to go. So, no conversation. So while there is some great information within the books, Neale is not an example of much of the ideas expressed. The cruises that are organised every year are a perfect example of that. The cruise ships damage the environment, yet Neale is willing to pay them (collectively with others) a lot of money, whilst also making a lot of money for himself. Check out the prices being asked upon his website. Once again, some great information, but I recommend reading between the lines. |

I have read a couple really good books he helped create tho. Home with God, Bringers of the Light, and Conversations have all personally been very positive forces in my life. |

Wow. Thank you for your reply "I AM ALL I AM". I found it very interesting. I can see that even as Neale has experienced some greatness, it seems he has been overcome with such FAME as you put it.
I actually now have a totally new view about him, and its not particularly positive either. I like your Fame acronym... Fear As Monetary Energy, will you explain to me the deeper meaning of this please? |

Conversations with God?
G'day Sk8_rDude_CR.
Well, if you recall, fear is False Evidence Appearing Real. So if we go a step further with it, False Evidence Appearing Real As Monetary Energy, in this instance with Neale, would be his willingness to accept the price of fame, or payment, no matter what the costs are to others, the environment, ALL THAT IS. For instance, there are 25 books, 10 cd's and 14 DVD's for sale on the web store at cwg.org, with the CWG Deep Study program costing $895. The cruise costs between US$1,485 and US$3,885. It costs to join the mailing list, recreation circle, and they have a donation page with the figures to donate ranging from $5 to $500. There's wisdom circles, study groups, life skills programs, all of which cost money to access. Basically, everything from Neale costs money. This is because Neale has issue with not having enough, scarcity, or whatever other name you would like to use to describe it. Seriously, how much is enough ? For one person to have more, someone else has to go without. Neale is willing to have more, therefore ensuring that others do not have enough. Yet he attempts to portray himself as a spiritual person connected with 'God'. This connection is used to make it appear that Neale is somehow 'special' above and beyond what others are. Yet in the series, it is said, it is not to whom God speaks, but who listens. God is speaking with everyone constantly. So Neale is hardly more special than anyone else because he has had a 'conversation with God'. In fact, he cannot be, for all is ONE. Thus the allure of monetary energy presented to Neale based upon the fame, or recognition, that he has gathered is based in fear, or False Evidence Appearing Real. What is false is that you require any of his products that he is selling. You can have your own 'conversation with God'. Thus, instead of freeing people up so that they can have their own connection and come to their own understandings, Neale continues to push his products as if you require them, when in TRUTH you do not. You can access the information without any of Neale's products. Neale, like many other gurus, is using peoples lack of recognition that they are an individuation of ALL THAT IS, and therefore have the same access to ALL THAT IS as any anyone, to make a LOT of money for himself at the expense of others. THERE IS NO DESIRE, THAT'S GREATER FOR ME, THAN TO INSPIRE, LOVE ETERNALLY. FOR I HAVE BEEN GIFTED, WITH LOVE TO SPEAK, AND BEEN UPLIFTED, TO KNOWLEDGE THAT I SEEK. THIS KNOWLEDGE IS TRUE, IT LEADS TO JOY, A GIFT FOR ME AND YOU, WITH LOVE TO EMPLOY. FOR LOVE IS ALL THAT IS, AND WILL ALWAYS SHOW YOU HOW, WHEN YOUR QUESTION IS, WHAT WOULD LOVE DO NOW ?. |
